What is FightPool?

FightPool is a skill-based MMA prediction platform. You forecast the winning fighter, method of victory, and round of finish for every fight on a card and earn points based on accuracy.

Is FightPool a sportsbook?

No. FightPool does not accept wagers, bets, or gambling transactions. It is a skill-based entertainment platform.

How do I sign up?

Click Sign Up, create an account with your email, and you can start making picks for any upcoming UFC event right away.

What do I pick for each fight?

Three things per fight: the winning fighter, the method of victory (KO/TKO, Submission, or Decision type), and the round the fight ends. Decision is selected as the round if you think it goes the distance.

When do picks lock?

Picks lock at the start of the first fight (prelims). After that point, no edits or new submissions are allowed.

Can I submit multiple entries?

Yes, you can submit up to 2 entries per event. Each entry is scored independently and appears separately on the leaderboard (e.g. "Mario (Play 1)", "Mario (Play 2)").

Can I edit my picks after submitting?

Currently no. Once you submit, your picks are locked in. You can submit a second entry with different picks if you want to hedge.

How are points calculated?

You earn points for each correct selection: fighter, method, and round. Underdog picks and harder-to-predict outcomes earn more points. A Perfect Pick (all three correct on the same fight) earns a 50% bonus.

What is a Perfect Pick?

Getting the fighter, method, AND round all correct on a single fight. Earns a 50% bonus on top of the base points.

What is the Pool Shark Bonus?

Awarded at the end of the event based solely on fighter accuracy. Miss 2 or fewer winners: +5. Miss 1 winner: +10. Perfect card: +20.

What is Shallow Splash?

A double-or-nothing on the Co-Main Event. Win = your points for that fight are doubled. Lose = you earn zero for that fight.

What is Deep End Dive?

A wager on the Main Event. You stake a percentage (0–100%) of the points you have accumulated before the Main Event. Win = add that percentage to your score. Lose = subtract it. Staking 0% means you sit the dive out.

What happens to cancelled fights and No Contests?

They are excluded from scoring and from accuracy calculations. You aren't penalized either way.

How often does the leaderboard update?

During a live event, results sync every minute and scores recalculate immediately. The leaderboard page also auto-refreshes every 60 seconds during LIVE events so you don't need to manually reload.

What if there's a tie?

Ties are broken by (1) Most Perfect Picks, then (2) Overall Pick Accuracy %, then (3) Fighter Accuracy %. If still tied, prizes are split equally.

What columns are shown?

Rank, Player, Score, Perfect Picks, and Fighter Accuracy. Click any row to see the full pick breakdown.

What is the Main Event Watch?

Once picks lock, the Main Event Watch screen shows every player's rank, their Main Event pick, and their Deep End Dive %: a live snapshot of who is on which fighter.

What is a Monthly Season?

An optional competition layer that runs across a full calendar month. Your score from every UFC event in that month adds up to a season total, and the highest cumulative score wins.

How do I enter a season?

Go to Seasons in the nav and click 'Join Season'. You only need to join once per month.

Can I join after a season has already started?

Yes, but events that started before you joined don't count toward your score. Only events that start AFTER your join time count.

Do I have to join a season?

No. Seasons are optional. You can still play individual events normally without joining a season.

Does FightPool sell my data?

No. FightPool does not sell personal information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Will you email or text me?

Only if you opt in. We may send event reminders, pick confirmations, and result notifications via email or SMS. You can disable both at any time in your profile.

How do I delete my account?

Email FightPoolMMA@gmail.com and we'll remove your account and personal information.
